OMNI HR version 9-0 is LIVE!

The upgrade to the OMNI HR system has been successfully completed, and the new PeopleSoft 9.0 version of the system went live on 10/13/08. As discussed at the Department Representative Meeting in September, some of the highlights with the new PeopleSoft 9.0 version are:

• Effective on payday 10/24/08, Employees will now have a one page printable PDF version of their paychecks within Employee Self Service
• Employees can update their elective TSA and Roth contributions via Employee Self Service
• Departments now have the ability to add an optional pre-department manager level approver on Job Offers
• Managers will have the option to save search criteria on the Approve Reported Time page in Time and Labor
• New fields have been added to the Pending Approvals page within the Recruiting area of the system; This page is a great alternative to the Worklist, for approving Job Opening and Offers

All of the job aids have been updated to reflect any changes occurring in the newly upgraded system. These job aids can be accessed via the HR Department's website at www.hr.fsu.edu or via ERP's website at www.erp.fsu.edu
