OBI Upgrades to New Release!

In conjunction with the OMNI Financials upgrade to 9.0, we successfully completed an upgrade of OMNI Business Intelligence (OBI) to the latest release. One of the primary benefits from this upgrade is the increased stability and reliability of the application. In addition to this benefit some other notable features are:

 

  • Single Sign-on - Single Sign-on is now available to OBI users. This eliminates the need to sign in twice when you select “OBI Reporting” from within the OMNI Portal. Once a user selects OBI Reporting, they will automatically be logged into the reporting application.

 

  • Processing Indicator - When running the Departmental Ledgers and Timesheet reports, users will now see a clock appear with the phrase "Processing..." indicating the report is running.

 

  • Data Downloading - Improved data formatting when downloading information to Excel or printing to PDF.

 

  • Improved Response Time - Improved system performance which results in faster report execution.

 

There are several other benefits that have been realized by upgrading this application. In total the benefits and new features from this new release will help to continually improve the reporting experience of OBI users.

 

To access the system, log into OMNI and click the OBI Reporting link on the OMNI Portal page.
