Departmental Ledger reports may now be run in the OBI reporting tool, accessible via the OMNI portal page under OBI Reporting. These reports should mirror the ones available each month in OMNI. However, unlike the OMNI Ledger Reports, these ledgers can be run on-demand for the current period -- providing data that will generally be up-to-date through the previous business day. Additionally, both the summary and detail versions of the ledger (including Outstanding Encumbrances!) can be generated from these OBI reports.

There are six versions of the OBI Departmental Ledger report available -- Auxiliary (AUX), E&G (EG), Carryforward (CF), Sponsored Projects (CG), Cost Share (CS) and Capital Projects (CAP).

Additionally, there is a new Transaction Details Report in OBI that provides users with a means of downloading data from all five of the detailed ledger reports (Expense, Encumbrance, Cash, Revenue and Liabilities) to Excel.

OBI Reporting Job Aids are available to help users run these reports for the first time.
