Strategic Initiative #1: Expansion of OMNI

Expand the use of the OMNI system to optimize organizational performance and best serve other business units and areas within the University.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance decision-making.
  • Implement new services based upon value-added and customer needs.
  • Eliminate duplicate processes between campuses and the OMNI system.
  • Leverage existing and emerging technologies to improve OMNI-supported administrative functions (SACS).
  • Increase knowledge and customer convenience through training and expanded web-based services.

  • Improve effectiveness of ERP business equipment and tools (SACS).
  • Enhance documentation of internal ERP business processes (SACS).
  • Retain a skilled workforce.

Strategic Initiative #3: Disaster Recovery

Provide for critical business continuity during possible campus disasters or disruptions.

  • Build and maintain a remote data recovery site and equipment.
  • Develop plans for access and use of a remote site.
  • Establish alternative business processes during service disruption.
  • Perform periodic testing of the plan and equipment.

  • Acquisition of remote data recovery site
